The Mini is back, long live the Mini!!!

Wood & Pickett (W&P), Mini parts and restoration specialists and one-time producer of special edition Minis, is to produce 50 new Minis. Well, old Minis to be exact – new old Minis. You know what I mean.

According to this week’s Classic Car Weekly newspaper, W&P are to produce 50 new high-specification classic Minis to celebrate the 50th Anniversay of the introduction of the iconic Mini in 1959 – a car that was to become an integral part of milions of people’s lives for the next four decades and beyond.

Nothing has appeared on Wood & Pickett’s web site yet but I can’t wait to see it and will post details here as soon as possible.
