SOS Radio Week is an annual event that my son, David (M3LFC), and I run at the end of January.
Designed to coincide with the Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s (RNLI’s) SOS fund-raising day, traditionally the last Friday of January, SOS Radio Week is nine days of operating fun that sees Amateur Radio stations around the UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Ireland get on the air whenever they can to raise money for the RNLI.
If you’re interested in taking part in SOS Radio Week and raising some money for the RNLI yourself then pop along to the event’s web site you can find more details and a registration form on the event web site.
If you’ve worked at least one SOS Radio Week station during the event you can apply for an award certificate. Again, simply pop along to the event web site and all the details you will need to apply for the award are there.
Thank you and I look forward to working you during the event.
